    terrible, terrible, I will never get back there again, service is TERRIBLE. I did “Keratin treatment”. First of all its not keratin you don’t even know what is that, the lady who did the treatment said that Health Canada doesnt allow to do keratin treatment cuze it’s containing hazardous formaldehyde, so I duno even what i had the stylist could explain properly to me. She was serving me and another lady the same time, she used the same brushes. and commented about my ends that its DEAD ends and it has to be cut for $55? Can u amazing $55 for that ….So i refused, she did her job very unprofessional. She washed my hair, didn’t apply conditioner and she started brush WET HAIR!!!! It’s was shock for my hairs. I have long hair of course they were very tangled and when she brushed no she didn’t brushed them she PLUCK them !!!!! She so that i was unhappy with that i said its painful. U know what she said cause my hair have dead ends. I wanted quit it as soon as i can. And actually u have to buy shampoo and conditioner which cost $79, u can’t use yours stuff. Eventually i left, and i would NEVER NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THAT SALON. And u know they have the same price for that treatment in salon $ 139 but they “put price $455” on the dEAl finder, its just business as always, everything is lie, better don’t go u will keep your hair id doesn’t worth it at all!!!!

      I will never return, and will have to wait many months for my hair to grow back to my desired length after I was duped into spending an additional $55 to have my ends trimmed — as with lady 84, I was there for the keratin treatment. Although the price of a blow dry was included with the treatment, I was effectively doubly charged by being charged $55 for a “trim” that took the stylist about 3 minutes. I advised the stylist that I wanted maximum of an inch cut, and that I wouldn’t get my hair cut there if he was unwilling to provide this service. He cut between 2.5 and 3 inches. Further, as mentioned by lady 84, whereas the stated value on the voucher of the keratin treatment is “$455”, the stylists gave inconsistent replies when asked about the cost without the voucher. One said it was $150, and another said it was $350. On their website, they now claim the service is $599.

    This salon is one of the best salon’s you will ever find. The stylists are amazing you will love their hospitality and their work. The owner is always kind and helping and so are the stylists. I would really, really, recommend this salon it is amazing and the staff is always professional , you will leave here feeling like a new you. With this salon you will ALWAYS want to come back.

    And to the people writing comments about this salon saying it sucks, gain some respect. You don’t have the right to said anything if you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. It is so stupid and wrong and DISRESPECTFUL !

    I purchased a Keratin deal through Deal Find. From the moment I entered the salon they tried to push the shampoo and conditioner on me. I refused to agree and they did not speak to me during the entire process. I am not sure what this product is but I had colour put into my hair two weeks prior and it completely stripped the colour. I called the studio and they advised that this is normal – but they never told me about this when I booked the appointment or arrived. I definitely would not recommend.

    I am writing this review because I went for the Keratine treatment just this past weekend. I read the reviews before going, and was a little nervous after reading them. First off the establishmnet is clean and up to date (very nice), second the hair treatment was Great!!! I have very curly hair and it releaxed the curls and helps out alot with the frizz. Today is the first day in a very long time I have not put my hair up. I tink if you go in there with an attitude you may get attitude back (rightfully so) however the people were very friendly accommodating. I would highly reccomed this hair salon.

    I went to Studio 861 this afternoon to redeem the deal I got for SmoothOut treatment and was dumb struck to find that a business can also opt to operate in such a manner….

    The ‘artist’ JAIRO BENETIZ asked me to open my hair, he touched my hair and said that would be $25 extra for long hair??? I said the deal didn’t say it anywhere, so he said, well, I am telling you now. I asked why wasn’t I told that when I called to make an appointment a week earlier and in the morning to confirm it. He said, well, you know now….He said ‘Indian’ people always have a problem…..So, I told him that he had no reason to be a racist and comment on a client’s nationality. He said, Indian people usually have long hair so $25 extra…. I told him that is not always the case, I know dozens of people from different backgrounds and length of one’s hair has nothing to do with nationality. He told me to go home and deal with dealfind to get a refund. The man at the reception was no good either. So, I asked for Ines, she came and said the same thing. I was in total awe to know that a business couldn’t care less about its reputation and was out there in open to rob people in broad day light. Everyone at the studio kept on saying that deal stated $25 extra for long hair but didn’t want to turn the computer on to look or didn’t want to pay attention to what my voucher said…….I had sent 2 of my friends to this salon last week but no appreciation for referrals, none whatsoever. That trio made me think hard if they cared about the business at all or was it going down regardless and all they wanted was to make the last possible dollars before the show down.

    I lost it at that point and left the salon. I tired to contact dealfind but there is no phone no. to call them??? I wonder what kind of business is this that doesn’t have a phone no. and a contact form that has 3-5 days response time???

    Well, I went back to the salon, took a seat and announced that I wasn’t going to leave till the time this was resolved….Jairo told me to leave and resolve it outside. I told him I had made an appointment and I wasn’t going to leave……I got tired and turned to Ines to say that $25 is not a big deal since I was there to pay $250 in total as I was going to get color/cut and was to get some products but its about ethics. She didn’t budge as if $25 extra was the last $ she was ever going to make……

    I gave in as I had to rearrange a work schedule along with my husband’s, leave 2 children under the age of 6 with friends, take 2 buses and 1 train to get to the studio and I have a morning business meeting tomorrow so I couldn’t have found another place to go in so little time. Also, I didn’t want to go back to that place if dealfind decided to send me back to resolve the issue. I got the treatment + color/cut and bought shampoo/conditioner totaling to a tab of $260. But, this was one of the most unprofessional, unethical, obnoxious and rude business I have ever dealt with.

    All I wanted was someone to tell me when I called to book an appointment that long hair was subject to an additional charge, but no, Jairo, Leon and Ines blamed it to dealfind and told me how WagJag is better to deal with than dealfind and it was dealfind who ‘forgot’ to add the line for additional charges…..But the question is if a business decided to run a deal on deal websites, no one checks if the deal has gone in the air as discussed or not? If there was a mix up or some sort, wouldn’t a business care to change it or take it in its stride and stand up to what was offered to millions of people in writing???

    I want my $99+tax back and a written apology from Jairo, Leon and Ines or this is going to court and to the better business bureau and to the newspapers soon.

    This salon is terrible. I went for a smoothing treatment and when I arrived I felt harassed to purchase the shampoo and conditioner. When I insisted I already had some at home (after quite an argument), the salon owner did not talk to me for the rest of the appointment. What made the situation worse, is they failed to tell me that the product (I have no idea what kind of product this is so beware) stripped my recent colour out of my hair. I asked the assistant about the colour during the treatment and she said it would’t be affected, however, I went from dark to light. I called the owner the next day and he said, he the product will take out the colour. This is something they should have disclosed up front, especially since I just paid for a colouring one week prior. I found the salon unprofessional on all levels and would definitely not recommend it.

    Was there for the SmoothOut from DealTicker too.

    First off I was immediately up sold a treatment that would ‘actually work’ on my shoulder length hair the moment I stepped into the salon. I was told that my hair was too curly and the treatment I had bought on DealFinder would have little effect. +$50

    The treatment was extremely painful as it involved combing of my wet hair for about an hour (total treatment took 3 hours). This was done by a very nice lady who admittedly was an esthetician who “helps some times” and not a hairdresser. I don’t have a problem with this, but you could tell she didn’t have the hair dresser’s touch by how the scraped the comb against my scalp over and over and over again.

    By the end of my treatment I was told my hair looked ‘bad’ because the treatment had badly damaged my ends. How was I supposed to say no to a hair cut after that? +$50

    I have quite possibly the worst hair cut I have ever had in my life. I explained to the gentlemen that cut my hair that I wished to keep it layered around my face, said he understood, but clearly he didn’t. My hair is short around my face, and the layers are choppy… they literally look straight instead of nicely texturized. The cut is no where near symmetrical on either side of my face.

    The cherry on all this is I was informed at the end of my visit that I needed to purchase special shampoo and conditioner. +$60

    Total visit cost me:
    $139 DealTicker + $160 in store + $20 Tip (yes I tipped them, I didn’t realize how bad my hair cut was till a few days later) = $320!!!!!!!!!

    I would never recommend this salon to anyone and am warning my friends who also bought the deal.

    DO NOT GET A HAIR CUT THERE!

    I got an unlimited laser deal with this place almost a year ago. Here are my comments on their service:

    Good points:
    1- I think they do a good job in their laser treatments. The probe covers all the required spots and I feel the power they use is good

    2- The owner lady (I suppose) added an extra part to my plan for an additional $100 per year, which I think is reasonable

    3- Their laser room is clean the clean towels and napkins are always provided.

    4- The time between the sessions is about 1.5 months. They are kind of flexible with your schedule.

    drawbacks:
    1- I had a feeling that the people working there are very cold, almost no welcoming atmosphere. so cold that sometimes I try to start a conversation with the lady who is doing the laser treatment ( the owner?)

    2- My hair are still growing after 7 or 8 sessions. certainly they are less than the time I started the treatment, but I think if I leave them for 3 months they will be almost the same as before. I’m not that this can be considered as a drawback here.

    I don’t recommend this salon for many reasons.

    Last year I bought two $99 keratin deals for Studio 861 from Dealticker, and used one. When I went to use the second one recently, the salon had marked both as already used. Oh, and both were marked as used on the same day, as if I had two keratin treatments back to back.

    The owner insisted that I must have given it to someone else, and was very rude to me as if I were trying to get a free treatment. These deals are all numbered and, since the salon uses an appointment book, are completely traceable to who uses which voucher number.

    On both occasions that I have been there, the hairdressing staff have been unprofessional in their behaviour and demeanour, and undertrained. I have long curly hair and the girl tried to comb it out wet without any smoothing product, using a narrow steel barber’s comb – and tugging and tearing from the top down. When I told her how to comb it out starting from the bottom, she did not even answer me, and the owner rudely cut me off, telling me that did not make any difference.

    Snide and derogatory comments are made about the patrons, with smirking looks. The stylists talk only to each other. Nobody chatted with me or the other patrons in the convivial atmosphere that most salons have.

    The salon looks pretty, but it is *not* a relaxing atmosphere. No tea is offered, even when you are there for some hours. Even a request for something to drink on a scorching hot day while I was under a dryer was met with a resentful look and I was given a small styrofoam cup of tap water. No refill of water was offered.

    Every opportunity to gouge money from patrons by pressuring them to buy a special shampoo and conditioner for $30 each otherwise the treatment won’t last. Well, they are just regular products with SLS etc. Claiming that you need to get their $55 hair cut before they can do the straightening treatment… Yes, I had to pay that for a straight bottom trim. Voucher customers are treated like dirt compared to ‘paying customers’.

    Oh, and they told me that what they use is not in fact keratin. I won’t be going back. Dealticker refunded my second voucher because of the bad experience I had.

    I went for the “keratin hair straightening and smooth out” today. It was THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I recommend no one to ever go there. According to the voucher I bought, its $99 for a straightening and smooth out. When I arrive there, the woman is like “this wont straighten your hair” and I was like what the hell? Why does it clearly say that on the voucher? They were like “Oh since it takes out a little bit of frizz it will straighten out.” Okay, then she tells me its only going to last 3 months but I have to purchase their shampoo and condition $20 each. Uhm…..-no comments- It’s just a scam for them to make money, on top of paying $100 on the coupon, I was asked to pay $25 extra at the counter for long hair. Probably the worst salon I’ve ever been to. Disappointment, don’t ever go there. They were all talking in a foreign language and did not ever try to make any communications. I was just awkwardly sitting there for 3 hours with them talking in spanish… Pay extra money to get the worst service and probably get talked crap about you while you’re there.

    I got my hair keratin “straightened” and it washed out right after. I am so disappointed and I will probably be going back to get a refund. On top of that the colour of my hair changed from black to brown which was not fucking expected. When I asked her shes like “Oh yeah I forgot to mention keratin does that” What the hell?

    I had purchased the voucher from teambuy for straightening AND smoothing and went to the salon yesterday and had never been so upset with a service. First off, she told me it’s a smoothing treatment not a straightening treatment. I said, well on the website it clearly states straightening AND smoothing! she continued to say, “no no that’s not the case, it’s actually called straightening smoothing treatment.”…Whatever.

    So my appointment was at 230 and another girl came in at 3 for her appointment and I was still waiting (which is fine…I understand the stylist wasn’t finished with the last client) anyway, she started both of us at the same time. I have long hair and she stuck me under the dryer under pure laziness while she attended to the girl with shorter hair. I had now been there for 2 hours and had nothing more than a shampoo.

    Once the other girl had her hair blow-dried and straightened (while I’m STILL under the dryer) she says to her..”your hair needs to cool” and left for a “sandwich” for at least 45 MINUTES!!

    Once she returned she washed the other girls hair out once again and the other stylist took over to give her a cut.

    Another lady walks in with a different appointment and is upset because she’s been waiting 20 minutes so after the owner gets back from her 45 min lunch break she starts to color her hair!!

    At this point I am extremely upset. I said loudly for everyone to hear that I’ve been here for 3 and a half hours now with hardly anything done! She responded that she did me a favor and fit me in today because somebody cancelled. Well, lady that’s really not my problem and if you were so busy maybe you shouldn’t have left for a 45 minute break.

    She tried to sell me the shampoo and conditioner and I told her I already had it and even if I didn’t I wouldn’t be buying it from her.

    Nothing was offered to me, no water, tea or coffee. I was there for 4 hours. I almost walked out. I am a very patient person and usually never complain if I can clearly see that everyone is doing their best and I am treated with respect.

    This owner was rude, condescending, rolling her eyes at me over and over.

    This is a scam! It’s a very clear case of false advertising!! Unbelievable.

    I am so disappointed…I have a $99 voucher i bought frim teambuy and i went for my hair last saturday, the woman took care if mt hair less than 2 hrs …I have to pay $25 more because my hair is a bit longer from shoulder and plus tax and thy make me.buy $60 shamp and.cond. plus tip i spebd nore than $200 for ny hair and i washed 3 days later the result im so disppointed my hair is.curlier than before what keratin straightening is this…its a scam..please dnt buy..i work hard for my money and this.is.whaf i get u wanna cry :(((
