Highly recommended for men’s cuts. I drive quite a distance to get there, and it is worth it.

I used to see James at Kings on Queen and his previous shop.
The haircut and colour was always good but I got tired of
his moods, happy one day, sullen and moody the next time.
Not worth the drive for me anymore.

I love going to Kings On Queen!!!
I always feel so welcomed by both James and Mick!
I get excited to go because I always have a fun time and I leave with Georgous hair!!
I highly recommend both of them !!!

I recieved THE WORST customer service at King’s on Queen. James was not very welcoming when I arrived and I immeadiately felt a bad vibe, this made me feel a tad uncomfortable to say the least. I decided to give the salon the benefit of the doubt and continue with the service I was paying for – a simple cutting off of my split ends. I have extremely thick and wavy hair, and I explained that I did not want the length cutting, but focus on tidying up the broken ends was needed. James led me to the basin to begin washing my hairto a seat that was low and uncomfortable.Heproceeded to wash my hair in a very rough manner, no massage just pulling, pushing and very hot water. I was not given a towel for the back of my neck and excatly as I had anticipated, water had trickled down my back and soaked my shirt! I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to seem particular but looking back I wish I mentioned how uncomfortable this was for me. I breathed and let him continue with what he was doing ragerdless. After washing I was led to chair, I sat down my hair was combed and I was asked to stand up as I have long hair. As I stood up I was told not to wobble by James which was not a problem, this is common place for those with long hair. It was the aggresive tone of voice he used which wasof concern. As I was plucking up the courage to explain I was feeling uncomfortable and wished to leave he snipped a large amount from the back of my hair without consulting me on the length. I was horrified when i looked at the ground. This was the last straw. I picked up my things and left quickly withsoaking wet hair and a general asymetric mess to boot. I recommend NEVER using this salon and I hope his partner finds out how awful my experience was at the place. It is a real shame as the salon is lovely and kitch, and local to me. I visited another salon and got a wonderful cut at half the price. I was asked to relay my thanks for the business you sent their way!
